Molly & Andrew's Perfect Day

In Ithaca, New York, Molly and Andrew's day started with rain and overcast skies. Nobody wants rain on their wedding day, but Molly was upbeat and excited, ready to roll-with-the-punches. The Inn at Taughannock Falls has great accommodations for the couple to ready themselves in separate houses on the property. After some of their closest loved ones helped with the preparations, Molly tapped Andrew from behind for a "First Look" under the reception tent.

They wrote touching, personal vows, which we captured for posterity, and used key pieces woven into their Wedding Highlight Film.

After the signing of the Ketubah, guests made their way to seats arranged in front of a beautiful Chuppah, adorned with flowers.

​

As it was always meant to be, the clouds parted, the umbrellas collapsed, and warm sun rays shone down just as the ceremony began.​ As a wedding videographer, my attention is often split between being in-the-moment, and technicalities like depth-of-field, frame-rate, composition etc.  It's in editing, when I pour over clips and build the story of their day, that I sometimes get emotional. Seeing Andrew stare down the aisle at the love of his life slowly making her way to him, brought tears to my eyes. Molly and Andrew have amazing families, and fun friends. Following the ceremony, the party kicked into gear with the Horah, the Mezinka, and a full night of dancing!

I sometimes leave a little piece of my heart woven into people's wedding films. Theirs was no exception. I feel sincerely blessed to have captured Molly and Andrew's wedding.

We had the pleasure of working with an amazing team of vendors, Gabriela Bucero is a great photographer and was wonderful to work with, as was Seth and The Uptown Groove- an amazing band!
