We recently had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of Ariel and Morgan, a fun, very genuine couple. My goal was to create an organic film that captured their fun spirits, their deep love, and the story of their day. When Morgan texted me that the video "made me tear-up", it felt very rewarding. :-)
Ariel and Morgan celebrated with all of their most important friends and family, at The Kester Homestead, a beautiful venue/property in Memphis, NY, just a stones throw from the Finger Lakes region.
As the couple got ready for their day in Kester's historic Empire style house (where nearly every room is bathed in awesome natural light!), their loved ones filled the pews of the on-site woodland cathedral. This is easily one of my top 3 ceremony sites in the area.
Down a short path from the barn, rows of church-pews face a hand-crafted arbor nestled in the woods.
Sunlight filtered through a canopy of leaves, and trees filled with songbirds. It's a magical place to marry, and Ariel and Morgan's vows were personal and touching.
Following their ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails while we captured some fun moments with the couple and their wedding party along some of the property's paths. Guests were then treated to an unforgettable first dance- an upbeat choreographed dance to a mash-up of several songs!
The dancefloor was packed all evening, thanks to DJ Paul Manzari of Envisioned Event. Paul was kind enough to refer Morgan and Ariel to me. It's always appreciated when some of the areas top vendors refer clients to me. Being a creative "bespoke" service, I can only take on a limited number of wedding films yearly, it's always nice to get to work with people who appreciate what you do. :-)
